Incredible India
“India's 66th Independence Day, on 15th August, 2012 is a holiday commemorating India's independence from the British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation. Just when we celebrated this wonderful day, simultaneously we were also getting prepared to celebrate in September the next festival 'Ganesh Chaturthi'.
Although, 'Ganesh' is known by many other attributes, Ganesha's elephant head makes him particularly easy to identify. Ganesha is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles and more generally as Lord of Beginnings. Hence, at any auspicious day, ceremony the first prayer is offered to Lord Ganesha.
